What is the club’s role?
Every Rotary club is important to the continued success of this program. The success of Camp RYLA is ultimately defined by the students selected to attend. By recruiting and selecting students who excel in leadership and school and community service the Rotary Club is helping develop future leaders.
Your club’s ongoing financial support and time commitment is vital and appreciated. Additionally, a strong club chairperson and committee is instrumental in the success of the program each year.
Each year clubs need to select a chairperson to oversee the club’s participation. Responsibilities include attending the January kickoff meeting and appointing a committee to help manage the selection process, attend student / parent orientation meetings and arrange transportation of campers to and from camp.
